GATE 2018 Exam Pattern – Jointly IITs & IISc in eight regions at national Level conduct Graduation Aptitude Test in engineering every year. The GATE Scoring is used for admission to post graduation courses in such as Masters of Engineering, Masters of Technology & Doctor of Philosophy. The candidates appear in examination with better understanding about the GATE 2018 Exam Pattern and try to score well marks in exams. GATE Exam Pattern Subject wise
As per officially news the GATE paper is consists of two sections first is general aptitude test which is compulsory to all streams and second one is engineering/science & engineering/ science section which is different for different branches of engineering/science. The general aptitude section must attempt by all candidates as it is common in all streams.
According the latest official indications the IIT, Guwahati will moderate the GATE 2018 Paper. The accurate examination date is not avail now so hopefully as their records the exam will be schedule on Saturdays/Sundays from the months January to February of the year 2017.
GATE 2018 Exam Pattern
- There will be single paper for all 23 branches
- You need to attempt it within 3 hour time duration
- The Total number of question is 65.
- The marks of total paper is 100 marks maximum
- Questions appear in paper which will be either MCQs, numerical answer type
- Each questions four options consisting one right answer
